Costela de Boi com Cebola
Cooking this traditional Brazilian dish is easier than you think! Follow our simple recipe to enjoy costelas de boi com cebola at home.
Ingredients:
- Costelas de boi (beef ribs)
- Cebolas (onions)
- Sal (salt)
- Pimenta-do-reino (pepper)
- Azeite ou óleo para fritar
Instructions:
Fry the ccebulas in a little oil until they soften and take on color. Add the ribs, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and fry them together for a couple of minutes.
- Add water to cover the ribs, bring to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer gently for about 45 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- Once done, remove from the heat. Let sit for at least 10-15 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve this delicious dish of costelas de boi com cebola with some rice and farofa (cornmeal) for a complete meal!
